Tape Repair
If you have
priceless moments you've caught on video tape, which have been damaged by
breakage, heat distortion, or a hungry video player. It will obviously never
play in your VCR. Don't be alarmed yet! Your precious memories could still be
saved. Tapes that are wrinkled in places may sound and/or look distorted over
the affected area. If the tape is cut or stretched several seconds of tapes may
have to be removed to salvage the rest.
Our standard repair charge is $20.00 US. This includes shipping inside the
US, international shipping is extra and will be determined when a shipping
address is sent. Over night service can be requested for an extra $20.00
US.
Our bulk rate applies to orders of five (5) tapes or more. The rate is $20
per hour plus cost of materials and shipping.
Please before sending your tape(s) think this repair through. Obviously, if
your Dumb and Dumber tape was eaten by you dog or tape player, it would not make
any sense to send it to us when you could buy a new tape for less than
$20.00.

A: Most tape cassettes can be
repaired if the tape has not been exposed to extreme heat. Tapes which have been
exposed to extreme temperatures show distortion.
Q: I TAPED OVER (INSERT NAME OF
TAPE HERE)... CAN YOU RESTORE IT?
A: Unfortunately NO. Once the
magnetic field of a tape has been altered, it's
altered.
Q: HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO
REPAIR A TAPE?
A: A single tape can be repaired the
same day we receive it or the next business day.
